BBQ @ Beach
I was going to write a long drawn out entry, but instead here are pictures.
A couple of Sundays ago, Nick told me to come to the front balcony, this is what we saw:
This past Sunday however, I planned a BBQ at a beach a bit north of here, it was crowded but a beautiful day. It was good to be among friends again. Lifted the funk a bit.
Along the way, on the highway, I saw a line of these cars ... I chose to take a picture of the blue one:
Our friends Liz & Joe came and brought their handsome puppy, MILO!
And what's a day without some minor mishap. I brought a new grill and we didn't think to get tools ... there was a point where Nick was staring down some hungry folks because the propane tank couldn't fit on the grill. He, in the usual Nick fashion, went to grab some stranger who he became friends with and who had tools... Rick, didn't want me to take a picture of the fiasco, so he did this:
And what's a day without seeing some rather strange things from a Washingtonian... this lady had this whole setup for these two dogs, and I was left staring openmouthed for some reason.
