Camping - Part I
So, we went camping this weekend ... a weekend that stretched on forever and ever. I've got some pictures to post but for now, had to drop in to write about a truly hicktastic event.
See, we got there on Friday night late because of some clusterfuck in planning and because both Nick and I had to work till 5 and 6 respectively. Whereas, our camping friends, only had to work til 4 and the wife's out of a job. Anyhoo, so we got their late... and was setting up the tent and stuff when we noticed that there was some really loud music playing in the background. We didn't think anything of it ... until it was about 12pm and another set of campers walked past our site and to one adjacent from us and shouted, "TURN THE MUSIC OFF"...
The other folks complied, only to replace the music with fighting, cursing and the whole rot. We were so tired, we went to sleep admist all of that.
Fast forward to Saturday night, repeat performance. Except this time, Nick and our friend Rick, walked over to the other site and told them, it's getting late, turn the music down. Sure enough, they turned it down ... and then the fighting started. We ignored it for a while, until we heard what sounded like loud banging and someone getting the snot kicked out of them. Keep in mind it's pitch black ... when all of a sudden car lights went on, and I was like WTF??? I told Nick to get up, because I didn't want some drunk fuck to run into our tent and kill us. So, we got up and then heard the female part (it was a 20 year old girl and her boyfriend) started yelling for someone to help her.
Long story short, it was this couple that were fighting to the death and the girl was beating the crap out of the guy, who by the way, served in Iraq and came out last year. The girl already had two kids, a 4 year old, and a 1 year old... and she was thrown in jail last week for beating the crap out of him then too. It was so insane, that even I cursed her out. I hate it when chicks act dumb and all hick like. I was ready to personally sterilize the dumb twat by the time I was finished with her.
Sorry ... otherwise, it was a fun time. Not showering for two days ... I could go without that part.

invest in a video camera woman!!! you know how much reality tv would pay for this sorta stuff? and you wudn't be stuck in hickville. ;-)

Dude, you have no idea how much I wanted to whip my camera out and start filming. But the boyfriend was yelling at me to go back to the camp and it was so dark, I couldn't see much.
