Camping - Part II
I finally got a chance to look at some of the pictures I took from our camping trip this past weekend, and I realized that it was not as many as I thought. But, c'est la vie, here are some of them.
Putting up the tent late @ night.
Then on to figuring out the propane lantern.
Two men nearly passing out, trying to fill an air mattress with only their breath and an air compressor meant to fill up tires... I was taking bets on who was going to pass out first.
In the pitch dark, Nick & Rick decided it was time to go get some firewood... silly boys...
Dragging it back to the campsite.
You can't see it here, but Rick's hands were all blistered up.
The morning after, I was making pancakes for everyone. Rick made sausage and bacon.
I should explain this ... see Zachary's sole purpose was to find Big Foot, a native of the Pacific NW. So while Rick and Nick took him four-wheeling, my job was to make "footprints" of big foot...this was my lame attempt. Nick and Rick then proceed to try and scare the crap out of the boy.
FYI - Never chop wood when you're drunk ... you may lose a finger, or a toe...

it was part of a leadership training program... they took us on a week long wilderness hike. no running water. no toilets. no showers. it was slightly uncomfortable... but i knew what i was getting myself into.
obviously, being a true leader means no showering!
